TREK |
D-1 : Arrival Tananarive earlier in the morning and departure directly to Ambositra (5hrs drives). Night in hotel at Ambositra. D-2 : We go to the Zafmaniry’s land, where the art of the wooden sculpture hardcraft is considered like a world cultural wealth by the UNESCO. We start our walk from the Antoetra’s village (5hrs of walk and + 100 m of denively). Night in tents. D-3: We continue our walk across green valleys and several villages which are completely isolated, as far as we arrive to Ankidodo (7hrs of walk and + 200m of denively). Night in tents. D-4 : Return to Antoetra where our car wait us to continue to Sahambavy ( 5hrs of walk and + 250m and – 200m of denively; 4hrs drives). Night in hotel at Sahambavy. D-5 : We drive to Ambohimahamasina (4hrs30 drives), an area of rural development projects, managed by a Non-Governmental Organization named « Association des populations des montagnes du Monde ». We stay there for three days, in order to see how the local people lives. Night in an inhabitant’s house. |

D-6 :
We climb the Ambohimahamasina’s sacred mountain. Then we walk across
a thick and rich forest to
join the village of Ambalahazo (6h of walk).
Night in an inhabitant’s house.
D-7 : Today we discover the local art and techniques to make some
farming tools.
Then we return to
Ambalavao ( 1hr30 drives).

at Ambalavao.
D-8 : We continue to the National Park of Andringitra where we begin
our walk of three days. We walk
across some long rocky corridors in order
to arrive to the campsite in Andriampotsy (4hrs of walk and 400m
of denively).
Night in tents.
D-9 : Awakening earlier for the climbing of the Pic Bobby, which is
the second most higt summit of
Madagascar. We admire the exceptionnal panorama
before we leave for Antaranomby
(9hrs of walk and +600m and – 900m
of denively).
Night in tents.
D-10 : We go down slowly to the Tsaranoro’s Valley to arrive
at the campsite (6hrs of walk and – 700m
of denively). Night in hotel
at Tsaranoro valley.
D-11 : Leisure day. Complete break or walk in Tsaranoro valley to
discover the Barabory villages.
Night at the hotel in Tsaranoro valley.
D-12: We continue our road to the National Park of Isalo (5hrs drives).
We discover on the afternoon the Canyon des rats. Night in tents near the
Canyon.
D-13 : We leave for the piscine naturelle (7hrs of walk and 500m of
denively). We penetrate in a small
forest which shelter several Lemur species.
Night in tents.
D-14 : Today it’s our last day in the National Park, we end
with Namaza natural swimming pool
( 4hrs of walk and 200m of denively).
Night in hotel at Ranohira.
D-15: We leave earlier in the morning to Salary (8hrs drives) for two days
relax on the paradise beach
of Salary. Night in hotel at Salary.
D-16 & D-17: Leisure days. Salary is clear and amazingly emerald green
sea, sandy fine white beach,
colourful coral, and Vezo villages set on
the sandy dunes. Nights in hotel at Salary.
D-18: Drive back to Tulear. Flight to Tananarive and correspondance for
the international flight Tananarive / Paris.
